BioGuard™ uses BLIS K12 technology. BLIS stands for “Bacteriocin – Like Inhibitory Substance,” which means BLIS K12 probiotic is able to respond to an immune system threat by ramping up the production of antibacterial proteins for immune defense. Therefore, BLIS K12 found in BioGuard can act on bacteria that cause some unhealthy conditions (immune imbalance, throat irritation, mouth odor, etc).

BioGuard was developed under the philosophy of bringing scientifically designed products to consumers and BLIS K12 helps provide that science. First, BioGuard ingredients are patented with a total of 13 patents worldwide. Second, BLIS K12 is well studied and published in journals such as the Journal of Applied Microbiology. There are more than 30 studies proving BioGuard’s effectiveness and safety.
